11.000 PROFESSIONALS SHAPED THEIR TRADES IN AYSAF FAIR

Footwear components manufacturers displayed their products for Autumn and winter 2010 in AYSAF fair. AYSAF which took place in CNR Expo Centre has gathered both the national and international manufacturers and hosted 10.640 visitors.

43^rd AYSAF - 4.International Footwear Industry Suppliers Fair which took place between 07 – 10 April 2010 reflected the developments of the sector. Including Turkey, there were participants from 17 different countries totaling to 284 companies, which also includes the companies participated through their Turkish agents.

AYSAF which shapes the sector as the only sector fair held in Turkey, is organized by Pozitif Fuarcilik which is a member of CNR Holding Company and supported by TASEV (Foundation of Turkish Footwear Sectors’ Research, Development and Education)
AYSAD (Association of Turkish Footwear Components Manufacturers) and KOSGEB (Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and Industry Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization). AYSAF took place in a 15.000sqms area.

Participants from USA, Germany, Argentina, Finland, France, India, Netherlands, Iran, Spain, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, China and Taiwan had a chance to meet with both local and international buyers.

Some of the countries who sent buyers groups to AYSAF fair were, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Algeria, Iran, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Syria, Tunisia, and Jordan. Besides these countries, local buyer groups from the seven different areas of Turkey have also visited the AYSAF.

Soles, moulds, heels, accessories, textiles, chemicals, leather, artificial leather, shoe machineries were the products which was displayed in AYSAF and shoe manufacturers, wholesalers, leather goods manufacturers were the visitors.
